The MEMS International Team is here to support international students on several different levels. We offer student counseling, social activities as well as career advice. We pride ourselves on being informative and friendly, so come drop by for a visit or contact us to inform you about the amazing events happening in and outside the faculty on a weekly basis.

Anna Orosz
Anna started as a MEMS student in 2011 but was so quick to understand the program, we scooped her right up and hired her immediately. Originally from Budapest, Anna began to love Berlin and all of its natural beauty; specifically the bunnies in Berlin's Tiergarten. If you need information or a consultation, Anna is here for you. She can answer your questions in English, German, Hungarian, and un peu de Francais.

Katja Ushakova
Katja began working for the International Office in 2011 and brings many extra smiles to our team. Her Russian background and her keen organizational skills enable her to serve the needs of our Scholarship holders to the highest degree. Katja arrived in Berlin from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow in 2009. Now, living in her second Capital City, Katja knows all about big city life and is perfectly placed to help you out on finding your own way. Speaking Russian, English and German, Katja is sure to help.

Ryan Weldzius
Ryan joined the International Office in 2011 and is excited to continue coordinating a plethora of social events for the students of the WiWi faculty. Hailing from the Windy City (Chicago, USA) and recently completing an MA in Political Economy from NYU, Ryan brings a certain US-centric flavor to our ever increasingly "international" office. Feel free to speak English to Ryan, but give German a shot; he may just stare at you, but it'll be fun for all.
