The international orientation of MEMS and its excellent students make up a remarkable goodwill capital for the School of Business and Economics as well as Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
The impressive fact, that 85% of the international students successfully complete the program, is unique in Germany. Such a success can only be achieved and maintained through a careful and individual selection of applicants as well as an intensive individual academic and social supporting service during the study. This cannot be financed with public budgets in Berlin. We are hence dependent on external financial support to help maintain the excellency of the program necessary to attract the best students in the world.
Financial support is needed for MEMS in general, as well as for several specific purposes, for instance:
- MEMS Scholarships (annual need: 10,000 Euro per supported student for about 10 recipients)
- MEMS Tutors (annual need: 6,000 Euro per tutor for about 4 tutors)
- MEMS Social Integration Activities (annual need: about 2,000 Euro)
- MEMS Day (annual need: about 1,500 Euro)
