Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin offers various things to facilitate studying and living in Berlin. Check out this list. Some items will be vital for your students life in Berlin!!!

Studying

How to get the learning material from the lectures? -->MOODLE

  1. www.moodle.hu-berlin.de
  2. The HU uses an interactive learning platform called moodle where you can find all relevant study materials from the courses.
  3. Either you use your student account at the cms to use the moodle system or you create a separate account (http://moodle.hu-berlin.de/login/signup.php).
  4. Look up your courses and register. You need a password to sign in which you will receive in the first lecture.
  5. Please note, that your registration for a course in moodle is just to give you access to the learning material. YOU HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THE EXAMS SEPARATELY (you can do this in the middle of the term, see here).

How to register for the exams? --> AGNES

  • You DO NOT register for courses (exception: seminars – you register for them at the institute that offers it). Instead, you HAVE TO register for all exams you want to take. Registration for exams will be in December/May.
  • Please find the instructions here.
  • The AGNES pages offer a lot more: you can apply for exams, see your grades and make your schedule
