Diversity Training with Dr. Chadi Bahouth (Trainer and Coach, Better Coaching)

Vielfalt und Diversity sind in aller Munde. Doch was bedeutet es eigentlich, in einer diversen Gesellschaft zu leben? Und was heißt Diversity für uns im Alltag?

„In einer Welt, in der wirtschaftlich so Vieles miteinander verbunden ist, ist es wichtig, Diversity nicht nur zu predigen, sondern auch zu verstehen“, sagt Dr. Chadi Bahouth. Ressentiments und Stereotype verbinden wir in der Regel eher mit Anderen, so der promovierte Politologe, Journalist und Trainer. Wir nehmen an, selbst davon frei zu sein. Ein erster Schritt ist es, sich mit den oft unbewussten Bildern und Vorurteilen bewusster zu beschäftigen. Wie gehe ich mit Situationen um, in denen ich mich unwohl fühle? Und wie verhalte ich mich, wenn ich Zeug*in einer diskriminierenden Situation werde oder selbst von Diskriminierung betroffen bin?

Diese Fragen behandelt der interaktiv gehaltene Workshop anhand von praktischen Beispielen. Ihr erhaltet Denk- und Handlungsanstöße für eine bewusstere Auseinandersetzung mit Vielfalt und ihrem Stellenwert in unserer Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft.

Zeit und Ort: Donnerstag, 12.12.2019 von 14-20 Uhr, Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fakultät, Raum 120, Spandauer Straße 1, 10178 Berlin

Zielgruppe: Studierende und Mitarbeiter*innen, die Erfahrung mit Migration haben, selbst ins Ausland gehen möchten und/oder in einem internationalen oder interkulturellen Kotext leben und arbeiten möchten.
