Its aim is to provide outstanding students interested in a finance/accounting career with exciting events, networking opportunities and additional mentoring.   • DFG grant awarded

The scientific network Textual Analysis in Economics and Finance, with Hermann Elendner and Daniel Rettl as founding members, has been awarded a DFG grant. The network is chaired by David Florysiak from LMU Munich.

  • 1st place for the Finance Group team! Congratulations!

The Case-Team of the Institute of Corporate Finance, consisting of Tijana Dimovic, Charly Gräfe, Peter O'Connor, and Marian Walter, has won the 1st place in the regional qualifications of the KPMG International Case Competition 2016.

The competition is an annual event sponsored by one of the leading audit & consulting firms, KPMG, where teams from different universities compete in finding and presenting the best solution to a realistic business case. Winners on a regional level proceed to the national competition level and have the chance to win a spot in the global event of the KPMG International Case Competition in Singapore.
