The Humboldt Summer School in Empirical Financial Accounting Research aims to bring together internationally-oriented, high-potential PhD students working in the area of empirical financial accounting research to develop their research projects and skills.
The unique feature of the Summer School is its focus on improving students’ research output. The international faculty members work closely with the PhD students on their projects before and during the event, thus providing them with guidance and expertise. At the end of the week the students present their research project to Summer School participants for review and discussion. In addition, the Summer School provides students with excellent networking opportunities.
