In recent studies, it has been observed that men tend to have higher levels of financial education and confidence in their investing abilities compared to women. However, financial advisers have the potential to bridge this gap. But do financial advisers treat male and female clients equally? What are the effects of gender-based stereotyping? And are there different patterns in how men and women implement financial advice?

These are the intriguing questions that Prof. Dr. Christine Laudenbach and her co-authors address in their working paper “Gender differences in financial advice“ which Prof. Laudenbach will present at the kick-off event of our "W!E TALK" event series on Wednesday, 14th June.

We, The Women in Economics Initiative e.V. and the student initiative Women in Economics @ HU, would like to cordially invite you to join us for this exciting presentation and subsequent discussion!

Sparkling wine reception afterwards (with kind support of the Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Gesellschaft an der HU e.V.)
