What does it mean to do a doctorate? What things should you keep in mind? How do you manage your time and what are the biggest opportunities and challenges of the everyday life of a doctoral student?

We would like to give you the chance to get these and other questions answered.

On 18 June 2024 from 6 p.m. in room 22 at Spandauer Straße 1, the School's Graduate Centre will be holding an information event on the topic of "Doing a Doctorate at the School of Business and Economics" for those interested in doing a doctorate. In order to lighten up the event and to give you enough space to ask your questions, there will be no presentation, but you will come into direct contact with doctoral candidates from our School. In several rounds, the doctoral candidates will answer your questions in small groups about admission, problems, but also about the good things about doing a doctorate. Of course, you can also ask your own questions.

The event is planned to last about 2 hours. Since the demand for such an event cannot be estimated well, we ask you to register at promotion.wiwi@hu-berlin.de. If you are interested in specific topics or questions, you can also send them to us together with your registration.
