Director

Christian Schade is professor of Business and Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies and Innovation Management at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Besides being a visiting faculty of ESMT, he is a Research Professor at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) and a Senior Fellow at Wharton’s Risk Management and Decision Processes Center. His research contributes to a better understanding of entrepreneurial decision making and economic decision making in general and is based on experimental economics and economic psychology.

  • The office hourse for students are open to students of Humboldt University who attend a lecture of Prof. Schade and/or are in the process of writing a thesis with the institute.   In any other case please contact us in written form outlining your concern.

  • Professor Schade currently is on sabbatical leave (Forschungsfreisemester) and will only be available again from the start of summer term 2012 (mid-April 2012).
